Practice Marketing and Development

With my background in nonprofit marketing and fundraising, I entered the arena of private practice with some advantages. I had extensive experience marketing for social service agencies, and an intimate knowledge of the range of strategies that can be employed in these efforts. Equipped with this knowledge, I began and quickly grew a successful full-time private practice that has grown even more generative over the course of its ten-year existence.  I find it very gratifying to support other therapists in developing their practices and offer my services as a consultant for one time and ongoing coaching at an hourly rate, with significant discounts to clinicians in their first year of licensure.

If you would like to explore how I might be able to help you, please call me to schedule a complimentary 30-phone consultation.  Whether you are launching a practice for the first time, or wanting help to invest in or reinvigorate your marketing activities, I can offer assistance with:

  • Creating a vision for your practice
  • Identifying your ideal clients and work schedule
  • Exploring your psychological relationship to marketing, earning and success
  • Resolving conflicts that impinge upon your success
  • Cultivating a constructive and positive attitude about the marketing process
  • Creating a multi-strategy marketing plan and process that will support your short and long-term goals

  • Creating a monthly, quarterly and annual timeline and schedule for the implementation of your marketing plan
  • Identifying supportive colleagues and mentors to guide and inspire your marketing efforts as well as to support the further development of your practice as sources of referrals
  • Identifying your target markets, as well as gatekeepers with access to those markets

  • Creating a well-designed, conceptualized and written website with search engine optimization
